Since I launched the martinrosenkranz.photography a few days before Christmas 2020, the first month of 2021 has passed in a weird blur of lockdown. As I write this, the corona pandemic is still holding the world in its firm clutch. Because of the high numbers of infections here in Germany and a lot of other countries of the world, most shops, schools and public life are still closed or reduced to the minimal service. It forces many of us to spend most of our days stuck inside, working from our home offices and avoiding unnecessary social contacts. Staying at home for these long periods of time can be overwhelming. Quite a few people, myself included, have resorted to redecorating our homes and hanging new art to lift our spirits.
To help people get away from their Corona blues, I have created a giveaway of one of my limited fine art prints for the month of February. Hopefully, it can bring a bit of beauty and joy to your life in these tough times. On the 1st of March, I will announce one lucky random winner. All you have to do is sign up to my newsletter. The prize includes following fine art print and free shipping:
South of Corno Del Renon
– 50 cm x 70 cm / 19.7 inches x 27.6 inches
– Photo is printed on C-type museum grade Fuji Crystal Archive paper with semi-matt finish
– 5 cm white border for future framing and matting purposes
– Limited Edition of 25
I took this shot in August 2020 when Corona numbers were lower, and travel was still allowed. I had spent a beautiful summer’s day on the mountain Rittner Horn (or Corno del Renon in Italian) in South Tyrol with my family. As there are no larger peaks that could block the view, one has a wonderful panoramic view of the Dolomites. Just as we were descending, blue hour hit the mountains to the south and allowed me to take this lovely layered shot.
There will be plenty of more content coming up over the next few weeks and months in form of new images, background stories to my images and useful how to choose wall art for yourself and further your own photography skills.
Until then, stay healthy and best of luck for the giveaway.
