Yawn…Stretch…
Yes, it is April and bloody time I awoke from my winter hibernation blog wise, seeing that over half a year has past since my last post. I have been keeping busy with work, photography and watching my son grow and lightning speed. He is just over a year now, starting to walk and talk and cause all kinds of mischief.
Since December I have been back at one of my old passion -sound design and audio engineering-, which has been slightly dormant since I started getting into vfx back in 2010. I have been working for my old college and mate Matthias Pasedag at his studio Klangstueberl. We mainly produce the audio for Trailer, TV dents and commercials for German TV stations. Although it took me a while to get back into the flow (technology has not stood still and the broadcast standards have changed) it has been a lot of fun and very rewarding to get the old sound juices flowing.
I have also been doing some composing work for commercials for AixSponza, Sunday Digital and Hochkant Film. Videos will follow.
Most exciting of all I have my first photography exhibition coming up in June, details and documentation will be announced over the next few weeks. Needless to say I am very happy and nervous about that.
For the time being here is a shot of the Saltburn Pier from our Winter holiday in Englands East Coast.
